Christmas Cake Ingredients
This Christmas Cake Recipe has a little bit of everything when it comes to ingredients! Some are pantry staples, a few are refrigerated ingredients, a box cake mix, and even a flavor emulsion.
The recipe starts by combining a box of Pillsbury Holiday Funfetti cake mix with all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and white chocolate instant pudding mix. Next, you’ll need egg whites, sour cream, whole milk, and Princess flavor emulsion.
The cake is then baked and cooled before it gets its silky smooth cream cheese frosting finish! This is made by combing unsalted butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar.
Lastly, top the frosted Christmas Cake off with some festive sprinkles!
Princess Flavor Emulsion
The princess emulsion itself has a very unique flavor. However, when it’s added to this cake recipe it heightens the vanilla flavor wonderfully. It creates a distinct, overall sweet flavor in this cake that makes hunting down this ingredient totally worth it!
This ingredient can be found at Walmart or even craft stores such as Michaels. However, if you strike out from there you can always grab it from amazon.
You can also simply replace the 1/2 teaspoon Princess flavor emulsion with one teaspoon vanilla or almond extract.
Made it with my 6 year old and she loved making it and very delicious and moist.
