Poinsettia Cocktail Ingredients

You’ll love how easy this Poinsettia Cocktail recipe comes together! Simply pour, top, and garnish, no fancy bartending skills required! To make one you’ll need:

  • 100% Cranberry Juice – The star of this Cranberry Mimosa giving it its bright red seasonal color and perfectly tart flavor!
  • Cointreau – Gives the mimosa a wonderful slight hint of citrusy flavor.
  • Sparkling Wine – Choose your favorite bottle of Champagne or Prosecco. Dry sparkling wines are best for mimosas as they mix well with fruit juices!
  • Garnishes – Fresh cranberries and a sprig of rosemary dress these mimosas up perfectly! If you’re feeling fancy you could even give the rims of the glasses a sweet, sparkling sugar finish.

Once you’ve gathered your ingredients, you’ll want to make sure they have time to chill before making a mimosa. Nice cold mimosas are both delicious and refreshing!

How To Make A Cranberry Mimosa

  1. Pour the cranberry juice into a stemless champagne flute.

2. Add Cointreau to the glass.

3. Top off with champagne or prosecco.

4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and cranberries!

Notes

  • Can I Make Poinsettia Mimosas Ahead Of Time For An Easier Party Prep? I don’t recommend making these ahead of time since the fizz from the sparkling wine will start to dissipate. This will cause the mimosa to lose its overall bubbly effect as well as taste a bit off.
  • Is There An Easy Way To Pour And Serve Mimosas For A Large Crowd? Unfortunately making Mimosas in a large batch messes with the carbonation in the sparkling wine. To serve a crowd I’d recommend setting up an assembly line for quicker pouring! For the assembly line start by setting out all of the glasses you’ll need. Then go down the line adding the cranberry juice and Cointreau to each. Afterward, go back to the beginning of the line and top each glass off with the prosecco or champagne.
  • Could I Use Cranberry Cocktail In This Recipe Instead Of 100% Cranberry Juice? You can, just keep in mind that the cranberry cocktail will be filled with more sugar, making for a sweeter cocktail! Whereas, 100% cranberry juice is sweetened with other fruit juices instead of sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. However, using the two interchangeably will be fine, there just could be a slight overall taste difference.
