Cranberry Turkey Sliders
Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Sliders are like the holidays on a bun! Sweet Hawaiian rolls are brushed with a sweet and savory glaze, filled with turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheddar cheese, then warmed in the oven.

Reinventing Thanksgiving Leftovers!
Turkey leftovers are ideal for making comfort foods like pot pies, soups, and turkey salad sandwiches. But sometimes, it’s fun to get creative, and that’s where Thanksgiving sliders come in!
(It’s also a great way to use up leftover cranberries or anything else that’s in your fridge!)
If you plan on making a big feast this year, keep this Turkey Sliders recipe handy. After all, Thanksgiving leftovers may be better than the big meal itself!

Ingredients For Thanksgiving Leftovers Sliders
Doughy Hawaiian Rolls are piled high with leftover turkey and cranberry sauce and slices of white cheddar cheese. (The secret to the perfect melt is putting cheese on the bun and on top of the filling!)
The tops of the buns are brushed with a mixture of melted butter, light brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, dried minced onion, garlic powder, and poppy seeds.
Everything is warmed in the oven until golden brown and melty for mouthwatering, savory-sweet sliders! And they only take 30 minutes to prep and bake!
This recipe is the BEST. I found it here a few years ago and make it every year after Thanksgiving. My whole family loves it, even the kids. I look forward to making it with the leftovers. I HIGHLY recommend this dish, you won’t be sorry. I usually use the pre sliced small cheddar cheese slices. They fit perfectly on these sliders.

How To Make Leftover Thanksgiving Sliders
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and slice the rolls in half, top and bottom. Place the bottom in a baking dish and then layer with cheese, turkey, and cranberry sauce. Add an additional layer of cheese before adding the top of the buns back on.

2. In a small bowl, mix together the topping ingredients and then use a pastry brush to brush the mixture all over the top of the sliders, making sure to use it all. Bake until cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.

Substitutions & Variations:
- Add your own Thanksgiving leftovers: Feel free to load these sliders up with any leftovers you’d like! Spoonfuls of sweet potatoes, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and a drizzle of gravy also taste delicious!
- Roasted turkey alternatives: Make these turkey and cheese sandwiches any time of year with deli-style turkey lunchmeat. You can also use rotisserie chicken for filling.
- Use dinner rolls: If you find yourself with a surplus of biscuits or Yeast Rolls, you can also use these to make your sliders.
- Add your favorite cheese: Any mild-flavored cheese should work for these, but Gruyere or smoked gouda would also be delicious!

What cheese goes with turkey?
I like white cheddar, but you can use any kind of cheddar. You can also try American, Swiss, or Provolone. Pretty much any mild cheese that won’t overpower the other flavors should work!
What is a slider?
A slider is basically a mini sandwich, so they’re especially fun to serve as appetizers for parties or game days. Or, have a few and eat ‘em as a meal!
