Ingredients In A Chocolate Martini

I love that this ultimate chocolate martini recipe has minimal ingredients! Most of which I normally have on hand or can make right at home.

Allowing me to easily and quickly whip up a few of these when the mood hits! This recipe combines three types of alcohol: vodka, Irish cream liqueur, and chocolate liqueur.

I usually just use whatever vodka I have on hand, but I do prefer to use Godiva chocolate liqueur as it has the best flavor with a silky finish. As for the Irish cream liqueur I like to make my own by following my 10-minute Easy Homemade Irish Cream Recipe.

Finishing off this martini recipe is heavy cream, chocolate syrup, and ice.

How To Make A Chocolate Martini

  1. Dip the rim of the martini glasses into the chocolate sauce and then in sprinkles.
  2. Pour the vodka, Irish cream, peppermint schnapps, chocolate liqueur, heavy cream, and chocolate syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously.
  3. Drizzle chocolate syrup around the inner sides of the martini glasses and then strain the cocktail into them.

Make A Large Batch Of This Chocolate Martini

This recipe can easily be made into a large batch. Great for hosting brunch or a holiday party! For a large batch, mix all of the ingredients together in a jug or container with a cover.

The mixed martini can then be stored for 2 to 3 days. When you’re ready to serve, carefully pour the mixture into a serving pitcher or punch bowl.

Notes

  • Heavy cream can be omitted if desired, but it does make this cocktail creamy and delicious.
  • You can make this in a large batch for brunch and store it ahead of time in the fridge for up to 3 days. If you make it in a large batch and chill it, it does not need to be shaken.
