The Classic Brunch Drink

This Classic Mimosa Recipe is such an easy, yet tasty, and refreshing option to serve at a Mother’s Day brunch, mid-morning bridal shower, or really, any special occasion! Personally, I like to enjoy them all day long while basking in the sunshine!

For this recipe, I prefer using high-quality prosecco but you can also use your favorite dry sparkling wine! Regardless of what you choose, this recipe guarantees a fool-proof cocktail to whip up when you need something quick and easy to serve to friends and family!

Classic Mimosa Ingredients

For this Classic Mimosa Recipe just grab a bottle of sparkling wine and orange juice. Finish each glass off by garnishing it with orange slices!

I’ve found the best Mimosa ratio is 2 parts orange juice to 6 parts sparkling wine! If you prefer a stronger Mimosa, just add in more sparkling wine!

Classic Mimosa Substitutions & Variations

You can make this drink with other flavored orange juices, such as orange-pineapple juice! Then garnish the edge of the glasses with both orange slices and pineapple wedges!

Or even with orange-mango juice and hanging wedges of mango and oranges off the rim of the glass! Using blood orange juice would be another delicious variation to try!

Feel free to even add in a bit of simple syrup for more fun flavoring! Try a few drops of Orange Simple Syrup or Strawberry Simple Syrup!
